The leather of this shoe has been intensively treated in the tannery. After tanning, the leather is finished with a grey foundational print and a scale-shaped relief print. While the leather is laid out on a table, a darker layer is applied with a sponge. This layer is washed off a little later with a sponge and solvent. The dark layer, however, remains as a shadow effect in the deeper embossed areas of the relief print. Using a cloth and blue metallic stain, a final shade of colour is then applied to the washed-off tips of the relief. This is a derby lace shoe with a durable grey TPU sole. A dovetail joint elegantly divides the heel into in a rubber part and a leather section. The inside of the shoe is finished with high-quality calf leather lining. The sole is stitched through in the typical Blake make.
